First Post

• This blog space reflects me because I kept the page simple. I've incorporated a photo of one of my favorite vacations to Hawaii that I took a year ago. The blog I've created is simple and easy because I didn't want overwhelm the page with too many things.
• One of the most important things to me is my family. They have always given me their unconditional love and support, and I hope to make them proud. I have many passions including television, music, and food. I watch an impressive, or sad, amount of television because if I'm ever having a bad day or just want to be entertained, it never fails to amuse me. One of my favorite television shows is Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.  
  
  Although it's on very late at night I always try to watch or DVR it. Like most people, I listen to music quite often. I don't specifically listen to one genre, I just like listening to whatever sound interesting to me and going from there. Also like most people, I like to eat. Some of my favorite foods are cheeseburgers and Slurpees, neither of which are too healthy but their too delicious to pass up.
•  I am in school to further my education in hopes of starting a career in the future. Although I don't know what I want to major in yet, I want to be prepared as possible so that when the day comes that I do know what I want to do, I'll be ready. School has always been important to my family and has always been my number one priority.
• I hope to further my writing and reading comprehension in this class. I thoroughly enjoy English and I love to read but I want to become a better writer. I also hope to read books that will give me some new insight on new topics, or subjects that I haven't read about before. Reading books helps me understand the different types of worlds people can live in and I believe they make me more empathetic.
•  I value hard work and I believe that if I do work hard it will get me a long way. To finish college I know it will take an exponential amount of time and a significant amount of hard work and I'm willing to do that in order to achieve my goals.
